Dreamers Success Center at San Joaquin Delta College:
This video was created to showcase and promote the Dreamers Success Center at San Joaquin Delta College. It was produced during the time of COVID-19 and is no longer being used as it holds older information.
My role: Videographer and Content Producer
Production planning, and coordination of filming within the classroom. Video editing and color correction.
Pronoun Use Education Video:
The purpose of this video is to provide etiquette on the use of pronouns, with a focus on the educational setting. This video was presented at Convocation at the start of the Fall 2024 semester at San Joaquin Delta College.
My role: Producer & Editor
Leading the coordination of scheduling interviews with LGBTQIA+ students at Delta College. Pre-production planning, filming, and editing.
EDUCATION
San Joaquin Delta College TrAC Videos:
The purpose of this video series was to be used to promote each individual TrAC at Delta College and the specific programs that are within each TrAC. I was contracted out of class by the Outreach department which had a vision to be appealing to the high school demographic. Delta College uses these videos to highlight the programs on each of the TrAC pages that live on the deltacollege.edu website.

DCTV News:
This broadcast is a part of the Digital Media Program at San Joaquin Delta College, my current place of work. This production has won two awards for Best News Broadcast for a 2-year college by the Associated Collegiate Press. These broadcasts are used to help students gain confidence and build their portfolio by working both in front of and behind the camera. It gives the students the opportunity to put together electronic news gatherings of local community and campus events as well as highlight resources available to community members and students.
My role: Production and Editing Supervisor
While this is a student-led production I provide guidance on technical setup such as: lights, camera, and editing.
MISC. PROJECTS
Pity Party Music Video:
Contracted by an Oakland-based band, Pity Party, to create a music video for their song "Suicide Handbook".
My role: Director and Editor
I led creative direction in formulating a story in a humorous way given the title of the song to create a music video that also fits the aesthetic of the band.
Delta Flows Podcast:
This podcast was created to help education on California’s complex water system, discussing themes particularly surrounding the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta as well as the Bay-Delta watershed, from community, science, environmental justice, and advocacy, to other expansive topics with individuals from across the state and country. This podcast is a production of the non-profit organization Retore the Delta whose mission is to ensure the health of the Bay-Delta estuary and Delta communities.
My role: Podcast Producer & Editor
Lead in technical setup. Creation of set design. Managing production. Audio and video recording and editing. Manage and distribute the podcast via RSS feed. (This project is still ongoing)

Wedding Videography:
My role: Videographer
With this video, I gifted my younger brother video services for his wedding. I filmed his special day and upon editing, I worked on finding the right music to fit the video as well as color correction.
Rice Farming in the Delta (short documentary):
This was a production of the non-profit organization Restore the Delta. The purpose of this video is to bring awareness and education about rice farming in San Joaquin County.
My role: Videographer and Editor
Capturing b-roll around the farm, using a drone to capture aerial footage. Filming and recording audio for the interview piece. Video editing, and color correction.
